Motorola Razr+ 2024 / Razr 50 Ultra promo video leaks

Motorola has already confirmed that it’s launching the Razr 50 Ultra / Razr+ 2024 on June 25 in both the US and China (and presumably other global markets too). Note that this is the same phone that is likely to be sold under those two different names – Razr+ in North America, Razr 50 Ultra everywhere else, probably.

Today an ad for the Razr+ has leaked, so it’s one destined for the North American market. This shows us the “largest, most intelligent display” on a flip-style foldable (it’s referring to the outer one). Rumors say it will measure about 4″ diagonally, a slight increase from the 3.6″ of the Razr 40 Ultra / Razr+ (2023).

While it looks similar to that of its predecessor, the bezels do seem better. The Razr+ is also getting an IPX8 rating for water resistance this year, and it’s swapped out the ultrawide camera of its predecessor for a telephoto zoom camera.

Finally, AI. It’s 2024 and it looks like no smartphone maker can afford not to talk about AI this or AI that during a launch, and Motorola will be no different next week at its Razr event. Get ready for “Moto AI”.
